Maserati Granturismo

hi, so im basically retired now, and need something to waste my time on, i was thinking of buying a Maserati Granturismo, to drive it around whenever i could, i would prefer to be able to fix it myself, and have a background in engineering and gunsmithing, and have worked on cars on the weekend and whenever they broke for most of my life. is this car fixable by yourself, or something you need a dealer type tool/scanner/ manual that is not available? are the parts fixable/buyable or is it just parts droping large parts groupings till the issue gets fixed?

The GT is a pretty reliable car and you can do a lot of the work yourself on the GT similar to other cars you may have worked on in the past. Parts costs a bit more than usual but I'm sure you already know that. So long as you don't choose a GT with the Automatic Transmission you shouldn't need the factory tool for too many things and should do well. We say go for it!

If you need any help with things like Service Kits or other parts, reach out to us and we'll be happy to help!

Best Regards,

I’m retired too. Beside the great performance and style, It is a very reliable car. A lot of DIY. The car get attention from people any place you go so get used to respond questions about motor, sound, etc. You will love it.
