A8GCS conversion

Remember the A8GCS Berlinetta Touring that was revealed last year as a prototype by carrozz Touring (the same guys who make the Quattroporte "Fastback" stationwagen)?

Has anybody heard anything about actually buying one of these? I happen to love it and, considering that my gransport hasn't had any bites in a while, I'm considering sending it in for a conversion. Any idea what this conversion might cost? or where to start?

Heres another pic to remind you of what I'm talking about:

2006 GranSport, Maserati Corse Victory #65, Bianco Fuji
2006 Quattroporte Sport GT, Nero Carbonio Metallic

Don't know of anyone who's done it but I seem to remember the conversion cost a bomb.

yeaaaa... I'm hoping to keep it under 50k. Do you know if this car is a completely new frame that just "uses" the gransport mechanics (as is implied by the write-ups), or if it's just a new set of body panels and interior coachwork? I don't really need a whole new frame... just want the pretty panels

I believe it's purely coachwork.
