Another possible source for front plate mount?

Looks a lot cleaner and less awkward than the offset mount that screws into the tow hook. Any one tried one of these on their Spyder/Coupe?

I just spoke to Mike at the shop. He is not familiar with our cars, but would be he would be interested to make a kit if there is anyone in NorCal (Morgan Hill) that is also interested and could bring their car by for a fitting.

I don't remember what it's called, but there is another thread on here (recent) for a front mount that's removable/non-intrusive.

Yes, there is, but it mounts to the tow hook receiver and makes the plate off-centered. IMHO, this one would be aesthetically more pleasing. Here is the other thread.

Interesting. Can you post a pic of it installed on your car?

StonSho was the one I was thinking about.. I don't believe it uses the tow hook.

Or you can order a vinyl license plate sticker from Custom License Plates - Adhesive license plate replica that looks like plate itself.

I have a flip- up plate that's motorized and operated by a fob that I keep on the key ring. Sold in hot rod shops and fits perfectly beneath the bottom of my '05 Anniversary spyder front bumper and is nearly invisible when stowed.
I'm not sure but I think the whole thing was around $75 and operates quietly enough that you could deploy it while the officer is still explaining that "you have no front plate".
Simple installation also
