Hi everyone
I am the owner of a GS Spyder and have problems with my top closer motor.
Has anyone an old original motor which is mechanically still ok. Electrical part does not matter. Please see pics. The white wheel is broken the rest is ok.
Thanks for your help.

Hi thx for your replay. I actually have bought a new motor direct from the company UBUNU in Italy ( got address from another post) but this new motor does not mechanically fit. So now i have problems with the adjustement of the bowden and the microswitches. I brought the car to convertible specialist... Br

Is there a casting number on the piece itself or the motor assembly? It is grasping at straws, but perhaps there were off the shelf parts that were used in the motor (or the motor itself).

You could search on car-part.com I would recommend searching for something simple like a tail light, and calling the yards that pop up to see if they have a coupe/convertible, and if the later if they have the closer motor.

Past that, you can have it custom made through a company like this one: rushgears.com

Or take measurements and find a pre-manufactured piece that fits well enough, although this would be a real hail mary looking at the design.
