| Purchased 2nd owner in Dec. 2007. Drove as daily driver for almost a year. Placed it on eBay at request of wife as I had finally acquired a 1971 Alfa Romeo GTAm back from a 3 year restoration and she felt (as did I) that I had too many "toys". After the 4th day on eBay, I was driving to work a bit spirited and disengaged the anti-skid option (don't do this anyone....you have been warned)... Hit a bit of sand and rubble on the edge of the road and before a second had elapsed I was spinning out of control a 180 spin sliding backwards across wet grass (was early Sunday morning and glad no other cars were on the road), came to rest in a ditch, will all passenger side airbags deployed. At first glance didn't look too bad... at second... it was a total loss. Over $35K in damages, AllState was good to me giving me top $ for the loss.
