Gentleman, thanks for the reviews on the Sport Cats, glad to hear that you're happy with the results! I personally love the sound difference and the added bottom end grunt.

For reference to owners reading this thead:

jtanoyo1 and QP Sport have the Sport Cats for QP DuoSelect models.

maseratisportgts has a QP Sport GTS Automatica.

The pricing and results are the same but the parts are a bit different for these models.

elambo: Correct, the DBW doesn't build additional peak power in the Automatica (although it does feel like it). Really it's just unlocking power and low end torque that the engine already has. It's a solid upgrade for both the QP Auto and Duoselect models although they do work differently as pointed out by maseratisportgts who also has the High Power ECM. I think that was the point he was referring to in his post.

Best Regards,
-- Jeff

QP_Sport: It's our performance chip, called the High Power ECM: Performance High Power ECM Peformance Chip

It retunes the Air / Fuel Ratio and Ignition Timing to produce more power!

Best Regards,

Its the "electronic control module", picture this, you are throttling along, and drop a gear and the car rages like a freakin raging bull, the pick up is immediate and the car switches to mr.hyde, like u flipped a switch. Its not a full time at work mod like the DBW, but rather it kicks in at 4500 rpm, either once u slam the throttle or reach 4500 rpm towards wode open throttle during a downshift or during spirited driving... Hard to explain but a much better improvement over the stock software, as it maxes out the best air/fuel ratio insuring maximum burn of fuel for power, you wouldnt notice it during normal driving but its there, its like a secret mod that nobody knows about but you. And you dont burn fuel just by having it, only when its wide open throttle, and ur trying to get somewhere fast!! Definitely highly recommended and will give you that extra when pushing the car. I have them both in the gransport and quattroporte, "SLAM BAM THANK YOU, MAAM"

MOLON LABE!!
