The emblem on front bumper has faded a lot over the 8 years. I bought a new one but having trouble replacing. I thought I can access by removing the grill an get in there (it seems to be screwed in. The new one came with threads) but no luck. Should I have gone through the inside of the engine bay? Is the access there removing the first panel? Or is this something that would require removing the bumper?
Also don't forget to put lots of masking tape around the emblem when taking it off to protect your paint. It seams like a scary job to do but i did it in 20 minutes. Just use a sharp razor knife and cut out the middle of the emblem to get to the bolt. When you get the emblem bolt out use a hair dryer and heat up the emblem and pry off. Then a little more heat to get the leftover stick tape.
