You may have a Skyhook Suspension Failure of some kind. The Triangle you see may be the MSP or other features letting you know that it is experiencing a problem. If this is the case, it could be a failed sensor, shock absorber or other issues. Feel free to send a screen shot and any other messages that you may see but you'll likely want to take it in to the dealer or a quality independent service shop nearby to read the computer and help solve the issue.

If you need any replacement parts or advice, please feel free to call or email and we'll be happy to help!

Best Regards,

Did a "Suspension Control Fault" message also appear? My right front suspension on my 05 QP became very rough for a short period--on and off--with the message likewise appearing intermittently. I had the code read by the dealer which suggested that a circuit was open, but it turns out that all that was needed was a new battery. I've found that when in doubt, check that the battery is nicely holding a charge and/or that there are no parasitic drains on the battery which often times will cause various warning lights to appear (or to completely disappear). Haven't had the suspension message appear in over a year and all is riding smoothly.

Actually it says "electric system failure" and has a symbol of a shock next to it. The entire suspension rides rough. Not just one corner. This sounds very expensive.

Maybe, maybe not.... first disconnect the battery at the terminal, use a trickle charger to bring the battery back to full health or just replace the battery if you know it's due (again though, use a trickle charger on the new battery if necessary, you want full power when you reconnect). Next, reconnect the battery and see if the problem persists. You'll need to reset clocks / settings / radio code / etc

There are known issues with this car where having an electrical system failure message is due to having a low battery or problems with the battery or charging system. This can also cause other problems and may be causing your suspension to fail the self test.

So, first fix your "electrical system failure" message, then if you have more problems, let us know and we can help trouble shoot those. But for now, you want to address that first.

Hope that helps!
