Default first post-purchase question

just started looking into an early coupe. assuming i'm able to find one, are there any good places in massachusetts for service and repairs. also, any leads on a car appreciated

Steve, check out Ronsusser.com. He has an early manual coupe up for sale that I've done some minor service work on.

I'll defer to others on the board in regards to potential service options in Mass.

Some prefer the lower maintenance of the simpler manual trans setup. Some don't like the shift behavior of the F1 system on the early cars and prefer a real manual. Some have found the FD DW module to pick up the slack and make an early F1 car drive just fine.

It's very subjective. I strongly recommend you take the time to drive both configurations before making your "final" decision.
