I have a 2005 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa that i have owned from new and have always experienced a loud booming resonance in the interior or the car when accelerating from 3,500 rpm on. i was told by the dealer that this was normal so i accepted it until i recently drove a friends 2005 Maserati GS. His car had none of the booming resonance at any rpm. So is what i'm experienceing common to other Coupe owners and if so did anybody find a good resolution? If not common, does anyone have any ideas or direction to control the booming sound. Thanks in advance for you help. Tom |

I have an '05 coupe with stock exhaust as well and have never experienced such a booming resonance as you describe. My exhaust sound always brings a smile to my face, so if you find anything unpleasant with your exhaust sound I suspect something is not as it should be.
