I have just purchased a cen tech 99722, which was a recommendation from a forum member.. either way, I had the check engine light pop on, I got a 7E8 ENGINE and 7E9 A/T
code.. I realize that these are not the fault codes, but I cleared them anyways... I thought the scanner would have stored the code for me to look up, but no dice.. does anyone know how to retrieve the codes (from the menu) and look them up on the scanner itself..

engine light again.. I put in the scanner and it prompted that 2 codes were present the top bar read
"control module"
codes $7e8 and $7e9 (engine and a/t) I hit the "read codes" off the menu and it tells me there are no codes to read (stored or pending) I pressed the (?) when the code was hilighted..nothing came up?? Ultimately, I ended up clearing the errors and the light went off..
