Thank you very much.

I am going to see a friend this weekend to start a big job on the 222 4v. Cleaning and finishing for the complete leather inside and cleaning/repairing/polishing for the outside.

I think it will need around 3 weekends. I will post some pictures before/after...

@Bigfoot: I think you certainly went to AutoClassica in Milano. I was really suprised by the Maserati stand. Nice old cars. I love the birdcage. And it was really easy to speaks with them about Maserati Classiche and what they can provides as documents...

Hi Barth, I missed AutoClassica as I was on holidays at the time but a bunch of friends went and said the Maserati stand was the best one!

Thank you!

Autoclassica was a really nice show. I will post some pictures in another post. A lot of Maserati from all ages.

The 222 4v is a really fantastic car. The 2.8 liters is giving a lot of sensations. The turbo effect is absolutly amazing. The 222 4v is a prototype for the Ghibli GT, I love it, compare to the 4.2 liters more linear. Two different cars for two different sensations.

But the Coupé is also very strong, all the power in one time and GAZZZZZZZ. The first time I went to have a trip on my favorite road and at the first curve, I asked myself, brakes or not???. Finally no and it pass!!!
If you don't care, when you pass the 4° you are allready too fast for french highways (130km/h)

It's a kind of hapiness!!

We start to clean the car last weekend.

It took us about 18 hours just to clean the body properly, to start to repairs the small defaut of paint and to polish about 1/3 of the body with the first polisher.

But I enjoy already the result. The car will be absolutly beautiful.
