Default How do you dry after a wash?

Looking for opinions, an informal poll. What do you use to dry your car after washing it?

Do you use a shammy? Synthetic or natural leather?

Do you use a microfibre towel?

Or perhaps something else?

What's the most absorbent material, for a fast drying job, for the least risk of abrasion?

Chamois. Best way. Out of the sun. I wash after the sun has gone down cause I wash it on the DW not indoors.

I use a leaf blower, then a micro fiber with Adams Detail Spray.

Wow! That's bad-ass!!

I've been using a natural leather chamois but they just aren't as absorbent as I'd like. It's slow work, so I'm getting tired of it. I may go with a synthetic. Probably better than a micro fiber, since I don't have a leaf blower.

Regular bath towel or micro fiber or fake chamois.... depends on my mood.

I don't think you can go too far wrong.

Sometimes we overthink things here.

PS - don't let Adler fool you , he doesn't wash his own car

Who said anything about washing cars? I thought he meant when I get out of the shower!

I use an electric leaf blower (gas blower will leave residues). It's a great way to remove the water behind the mirrors and areas that you can't dry. Then a microfiber.

I drop it out the back of a C 130 military transport and it dries at terminal velocity. Much more efficient than a leaf blower, but drivability is an issue when drying in this manner.

Did I mention the only reason I've been using the wind tunnel is simply because my flame thrower is out of gas. Seriously though, I've never washed a car in my life. Didn't even know you had to dry them.
