Default Photos of Pinnacle Wax on Black Maserati.

Some car nuts are also detail nuts, that would describe me.

I was hooked on Zaino products for years. I took a shot and spent 110 bucks for the Pinnacle Souveran Paste wax kit. According to every review I read, this is the best wax for black cars.

Honestly, I am blown away by the depth, clarity and "wetness" of this product.

Here is what I did.

Washed car with Pinnacle bodywork shampoo
Using an Orbital did the entire car with Meguiars #9 swirl remover.
Applied by hand Pinnacle Paintwork cleansing lotion
Applied by hand Pinnacle Souveran wax

Please see the attached photos, Let me know what you think.

Lastly, I still see tiny water marks in my clear bra if I get real close, tried every product and nothing works. Big deal, it prevents stone chips, it also takes away that incredible pop of color on my hood. And yes I am being very picky.

Thanks. CM

Did Pinnacle recommend using a swirl remover as the first step? The first Pinnacle cleanser step, can that be applied by orbital, it doesn't remove swirls?

Pinnacle just shipped out the kit. They offer some excellent swirl removing products. Over the course of detailing my cars, I always had better results using a swirl remover as the first paint cleaning step.

For me the swirl remover did the trick, The paint cleanser seemed to be more of a polish than a swirl remover. It was very easy on and off. I just used the supplied applicator but I bet you could have used an orbital and a polishing pad. I actually tried to remove some swirls using both products and Meguiars did the trick.

I am going to but the Pinnacle swirl remover next. Still can't say enough about this product. CM

It looks incredible. As close to a mirror as I've ever seen. I'd love to see a photo of the whole car to get some perspective.

I believe that special Pinnacle wax is a paste.

Default Its the paste wax.

The wax is a paste. The polish and wax are super easy to put on and off. Next time around I will use the other Pinnacle products such as their swirl remover.

I forgot to remove my old CC from craigslist. Thanks for the reminder.

I have to say I am very happy with the results as an amateur.

However, I am sure I will take her to auto obsessions in NJ and let Nick have her for the day. I think my job is very good, but I only use an orbital. The pros use the buffers and really perfect your finish. We shall see.

Thanks. CM
