Talking I got the 2008 QP SPORT GTS DONE!!

I got my 2008 QP Sport GTS Upgraded at Universal Autosports in Glen Cove, New York with a Larini Exhaust, FD DBW, FD ECM - All from Jeff at Formula Dynamics. Kent Woodworth did the install. They did an awesome job!!! Anthony Simone, is the service manager, nicest most professional guy to work with ever!!

I picked up the car today, took it for a test run, and WOW.....!!

It feels like a totally different car! This car is a beast!!!! The DBW wakes up the car immediately, mine is (Automatica) as the Sport GTS came that way from the factory-

The throttle response is immediately noticeable, from 1000-4000rpms it just goes- and then once I hit around 4500rpms... WHOOOOOSH!!!! The car is flying!!!!! Huge improvement over stock!!! This thing is a BEAST!

Don't get me wrong, at 400hp it flys anyways, but not like this!!! I kept running out of safe highway to fly down, with cops and all (my points, ha) these days, I really need to bring this thing to the track- but I will tell you at 4th gear, 4500rpm shifting on the paddles and at 120mph, I was just getting started!!!! The car kept pulling and pulling and pulling, there was no end in sight!! I felt like this car was going to pull right into the sunset after my ride to Montauk end point this afternoon-

I highly recommend anybody who has the Quattroporte to get the DBW, and the ECM from Jeff at formula dynamics, and if you are in NY/NJ area, I highly recommend you give Anthony Simone a call, and set something up with Kent at Universal Autosports- They do amazing work, and will treat your car like a baby!! I saw them working on a Ferrari Enzo, McLaren F1 and the usual suspects, amazing cars...

Okay Back to the details..

You guys really are missing out with this one, it will totally spice up the car, and it sounds sooooo sweet!! I followed while my wife drove afterwards, you can notice a suttle increase of throaty noise while in the car, and from the outside, it sounds like a sweet ferrari engine, but Better IMO!!

I was very impressed with the way things came out, I will be back to tweak minor adjustments as this was expected, but this more than exceeded my expectations by miles!! I am so happy I did this, it feels like a newer, stronger, better car!! Do it right, and go all out, or don't do it at all fellas!

I need to check what air filter is in the 2004 I have just bought. The FD one is a BMC air filter. The size and shape is obviously different but I recognize it since I put their filter kit in my Ducati. If their is not a BMC in the coupe their will be.

Anyone have the instructions for installing FD DBWEM for 2005 QP?
Trying to see degree of difficulty before I purchase.
Thanks
