Here's the thread for the run including pics...good turnout.

A Ferrari 550 spun out into and crashed into an embankment.

Oops, before I take this thread off topic, I should say that I'm a product developer currently working for IHG.

Thanks for the link. Was sorry to have missed it. I'll definitely be in on the next one!

Do you ever get out to the Dunwoody Driving Club events? My friend started the group last year. They are having something in June on the 22nd from 6-9pm. PM me and I'll get you the details.

Cripes! A Lamborghini and Maserati in the stable? Lol, business must be good. 10+ years in post secondary education, and I had to marry a physician to afford my toys. Time to get buff and open up shop. Good on you!

Haha! I'm anything but buff! I just help people get buff-but thanks! My wife is a software development consultant by the way and she's a car nut as well so that helps a ton!

Ah, software development consulting. I did that right after grad school until the dot com bubble burst into a million pieces. Paid very well, but I've since re-evaluated and changed to a more personally rewarding career. Now I work at Victoria's Secret as an Assistant Diesel Fitter, hoping to work my way up to Sr. DF one day after my mentor retires to spend more time with his Lemon Prius. The pay is so-so, but the work environment can be extremely uplifting!

I read this whole thread and had to chime in on such a great board.

I first worked at 15 1/2 y/o for wells fargo as a bank teller and taking 2-3 public buses per way to and from work. My first car was a $800 nissan 280zx where I invested more money on the system then the car. lol
Now, I'm 36 y/o primary care physician in a private practice with my wife. She's a provider herself.
Last month, I just bought a 2005 rosso mondiale and loving it for a weekend drive, destressor.

Good for you. Docs are the least appreciated professionals. After 15 years of education, and near crippling debt, you deserve your ride. Funny, when people go to a hospital, they expect Immediate service. When they don't feel like they received it, they complain. The least you can do for yourself is to buy a nice toy for your trouble.

What about all of those athletes, bank execs? Next time, buy a Lamborghini.

Having recently retired from my job as a diesel fitter, I now head up a "not-for-profit" company. Yes you guessed it, we are yet to make a profit! Just returned from a quick trip to London. Landing in Miami yesterday in a 747-400 in 50 MPH tropical storm winds was quite hairy. Great piloting skills though-reminded me of the old days of entering Druids at Brands Hatch totally sideways in a Lotus Cortina!

Haha, good man! Had some terrifying moments of my own at Brands, in the wet, on the paint.
