2006 Maserati Quatroporte Sport GT suspension project

I finally finished the suspension and wheel project... Jatt Thanks for the suspension, So after the install i had to lower the coilovers from the stock position 1-1/4" front and 1" rear, current photos. The rear needs another 1/4" drop. Installation was not too difficult with the right tools... and some experience working on cars For the front you must take out the upper "A" arms from the chassis there is also a small sensor behind the knuckle at the bottom, two 10mm nuts you should remove. The rear was easier in that just removing the coilovers fasteners was enough to get it out, the difficult thing was feeding the skyhook wire back through to the trunk. I taped a piece of leader wire (old speaker wire) to it and feed it through then cut it and left it there to feed the new coiler back through... voila...

I also installed a high flow cold air intake filter, i think it makes a difference, or the old filter was so dirty it restricted air flow. I installed some lower body clamps, front wheel well mud flaps, and replaced the front lower engine panel and replaced the dash clock. Finally I had my mags straightened to a hair and refinished gloss metalic carbon (I painted the nuts and logo with a Q-tip).
