Window Auto Drop

Does anyone know how much the window should drop when handle is pulled? Reason I ask is because on mine, the drivers side drops about 1" and passenger's side about 1/2". Will be removing door panels soon and want to adjust them to spec.

There is a very good possibility that the limit switch on the driver's side is on its way out. Once it goes, the window will retract all the way down forcing you to crawl in from the passenger side to close the window.

It is a fairly easy fix. There is a youtube video on removing the door panel, or instructions somewhere on my drive:

If you want to search back through my post history there is a rather detailed thread concerning the replacement. The switch you need is model V-155-1C25 Brand does not matter.

Sanmiam, I am the one that reached out to you for the extra microswitches you had. I ended up buying a couple from ebay like you advised. Replaced the side I was having an issue with per all instructions I found on previous posts (yours included). All is well now!

Yeap, it was my post, ended up going with 3/4"
