Looking for a set of stock mufflers.

Anyone got a set of used stock mufflers that would be willing to let go for a decent price?

I'd like to do a little surgery, gut and insulate for a nice straight through flow, I've done a few in the past cars and bikes and the results were fantastic while still keeping that genuine Maserati exhaust look and not braking the bank either.

Here's a link of my bikes exhaust I've done.

Thanks.

I may have a couple pics on my pc back home in florida. Im still in pittsburgh...Basicly you cut around the top with a wafer disc for a thin cut and remove it. Inside is two baffles and a ton of muffler packing. I removed one baffle and half the packing....

I have a set of secondary cats and resonators from a 2005 coupe that are in very good shape, if that helps.

I've been offered a set FOC. I need someone to do the work, though.

Thanks for the reply's fellas, LORENZ-GS06 thanks for the info, I'd like to see some more pics if you don't mind, whenever you get a chance of curse.
I looked at the post Icdave shared (thank you Icadave) but I can't make out much what baffle and what else needs to be cut so if you care to elaborate in some more detail I'd highly appreciate that.

Maybe you are right about the fact that it's probably not a good idea to gut the whole thing because I already removed my secondary cats and resonator so maybe a straight through exhaust would be an overkill but as of right now the sound hasn't improved much and definitely not much louder worth to mention, I'll see if I can post some video clips.

Thanks again...
John

In this pic you will see the two baffles. Let me explain. If memory serves me correctly....The exhaust goes into the muffler by way of the one pipe that enters the muffler. Once inside theres a chamber, lets say a 8" by 4" square chamber. The inside wall of the chamber has two holes which are the beginnings of each baffle. In the pics u can see how the baffle piping twists around and out of the muffler into the two tail pipes. I just cut out one baffle and removed half the packing or alittle more. I can highly recommemd to NOT gut the whole muffle. I hesrd a car with gutted stock mufflers and it sounded like hell.
