Sticky buttons

I have a 2004 Spyder. The soft touch switchgear is "melting." Any recommendations to remedy that?

The best cure is prevention.

In order to prevent that from happening, use an AUTOGLEAM product for plastic interior parts. It creates a nice protective film and the buttons will last a very long time (mine as still as new and my GS is a 2006 model).

Personally I didn't like the Sticky No More product. We tried on a friends 4200 and the graphics on the buttons are not real, they are stickers glued on the buttons. It looked really awful. But it was cheaper than buying new buttons.

Yep, also read it

was recommending to use the AutoGlym product for plastics - something I won't do on mine. Clean only with water, no chemicals

Eventually you'll rub off the plastic film on top of the buttons and you'll get the sticky problem.

I agree if YOU are the customer. You should be entitled to say whatever you wish about a job that was done for you.

Maserati Blue has NEVER been a customer of Stickynomore. He has never contracted us to do any work for him personally.
