Default Navigation Cd

Does anyone know what the latest available update for a 2005 QP is?

Not to hijack this thread, but does anyone know where I can get a navigation cd? My 2004 QP was missing the disk when I bought it last month.

Cheers,

Steve

I assume the navigation on the 2004 QP is the same as a 2004 Spyder / Coupe. Are you looking for the entire set or just a single CD? Individual CD's and sets come up regularly on EBay. By all accounts on the forum, the Maserati system isn't worth the effort. I can't get the nav to work or my car was never equipped with it - probably the latter. Additionally, you can't use your CD player for audio if you're using it for navigation. Apart from it looking pretty, no point in using it versus a Tom Tom, Garmin, etc..

IIRC you can use the CD player for nav and audio. Check the manual for details. After you set the navigation for your destination there is a way to then insert the audio CD and listen to music. Your destination is retained in the memory. I don't have the car (or the manuals) anymore.

2005 Coupe GT (true manual) Grigio Palladio/Cuoio
2012 FIAT 500 Prima Edizione #474 Dark Gray/Black (needed it to meet personal CAFE standards))
1991 Alfa-Romeo 164L Silver/Nero (the other Pinin farina Quattroporte)
2004 Cadillac XLR (my only American car)
2006 GranSport Grigio Alfieri/Nero (fled to the Pacific Northwest)
2005 Quattorporte Blu Nettuno/Cuoio (Gone to parts unknown)
2002 Coupe CC Quarzo Metalica/Cuoio (now the property of our own PhillyMaser16)

You're correct. I stand corrected. Pages 91-2 of the Informatiion Center manual that came with my Spyder outline how this is done. It provides for a "partial" navigation system. I would still go for a separate GPS system.

Thanks for the responses. I actually don't mind the factory navigation. I know a lot of people hate it but it works fine for me! I spoke to Ferrari and it looks like the last revision was in 08 so I bought one on Ebay.
Thanks
