Hi, I just picked up a pair of 87 biturbo spyders injected models, both red in nice condition. One has 20k miles, the original window sticker, totally rust free etc. The other is also very nice 36k miles no rust etc. Both cars have very nice interiors. The 36k mile car runs well. The 20k has a very loud top end knock, it was advertised as just needing a valve adjustment, but it has a very bad misfire as well. I would like to get in contact with someone familiar with the biturbos. As they are not my speciality and may be shooting in the dark trying to diagnose the problems. Thanks in advance |

Hey, I jusp joined this group as I was doing some surfing. I am on the BiturboZendrum yahoo forum. I've had an '89 Spyder since '04 and I bought it when I lived in Snottsdale. I did source 1 guy there that was familiar with these cars if you're still in need. Let me know and I'll see if I can dig his contact info up. Brooks |

Here's what I dug up and it's at least 6 years old. His name is Alex and he was working at an Exotic Car Sales (might be the name) place in or around the Scottsdale Airpark. You know the type; small independent ones. He's really knowledgeable on these and at the time he was doing a 'barnfind' resto on a '67 Fiat Dino GT. Alex Work - 480-429-8414 Mobile - mob 480-241-8877 Good hunting on this one. I do all my own auto work except body/paint and machine shop stuff. I'm really familiar with these cars now. Here's some fotos from Scottsdale era and the new custom alum fuel tank I had made. The last one went. |
