Default axiom1 biturbo build

Hi Everyone!

New member of the forum here. A friend and I run a small racing/engineering/fab shop in Houston, TX as an escape from our day jobs and our most ambitious project at the moment is a Biturbo Spyder build. The car came from Dallas, TX in a non-running state, and we've been "working" on it for a few months now.

We're just finishing up the disassembly portion and starting on fabrication. I've enjoyed reading everyone's projects/knowledge on here, so I thought I'd sign us up and share in case anyone is interested.

There are a lot more pictures as well as commentary and descriptions on our site, axiom1.com. I'd be happy to provide more details if anyone is interested. Thanks for looking.

Sorry for the lack of updates- not much happened over the holidays. This project is growing in size every time we discuss its direction. Unhappy with the front suspension/steering setup, we're moving towards using the front subframe, control arm setup and steering rack from an S2000. We're simultaneously working on the fuel setup etc. Here are some pictures of the progress, check out axiom1::maserati for more detail.

In the words of Peter Egan "Racing makes heroin addiction seem like a vague urge for something salty".

Hi everyone-

Work continues on this monster of a project. We're cutting most of the sheet metal out of the engine bay (sawzall and plasma cutter) to make room for new suspension components. The scope of this project seems to increase every day. Anyhow, here are some pictures, and check out www.axiom1.com\maserati.html for commentary. As always, questions and comments are welcome!

In the last picture? Those are 17"x9.5" front wheels from a C5 Z06 Corvette. The tires are 275/45-17.
