Wow! Our first sponsor! You just made my day. Really, those two items, the bumper and turbos, were big puzzle pieces I was concerned about.

I'll try to teach you tomorrow via phone.

I have about 30 hours so far in interior disassembly, general tidying, cleaning, and pondering on gauge layout, rollcage layout, etc. Have taken hundreds of pics but most are boring, showing car in various states of disassembly. Tonight I hit a milestone of removing the dash finally.

How about some rollcage design pics?

Maybe you could wear some ECS of Virginia patches on your racing suit and decals on the car during the event

LOL, I actually have some decals laying around that were made up earlier this year. I'll throw them in the box with the other bits.

I'm planning to completely gut my car and replace the drivetrain with something different. I'll be happy to donate spare parts, it will save me from finding another solution!

Oh this will happen. As long as ECS doesn't mind a sullied reputation.

I've thought about contacting General Managers of every Maserati Dealer in North America and threatening to put their name on the car in huge letters. Unless they pony up with Parts, SWAG or $$ in which case I'll keep their good reputation from being shamed by involvement w/ LeMons

Any updates? Are you going to make it to TWS in the spring?

Also, for the mounting points of the main hoop it looks like you're going on top of the thin sheetmetal which covers the rear subframe main mounting points. Shouldn't you cut through that and go to the top of the mounting points?

Quick update... we will be at TWS in February but not with the Maserati, rather in the Toyota.

We plan to have the Biturbo caged and ready for the May Lemons race at ECR im Decatur, TX, which has just been announced as a true, full 24 hour race! (Most lemons races are actually 8 hrs Sat and 7.5hrs Sun)

Persons Seriously Interested in participating in the May 24 hour, send me an email or pm.

PS the biggest hurdle to moving forward was finding workshop space... we finally got that handled! We got this space a few weeks ago but it was too late to make the Feb race.

Any thoughts to running ChumpCar
Www.chumpcar.com

If it has it, drill out the brass filters in the heads.
Put some inter coolers on if it doesn't have them already

Keep your oil as cool as possible, even consider forced air into an oil cooler.

I run a pair of Porsches in Chumps here in Texas.
But I used to own an 84 BiTurbo.

I have driven in two Chump races, one at Harris Hill and one at TWS, the 18 hour last summer. It's nice to have both series running multiple races in TX. I happen to know a lot more people in the Lemons paddocks so I lean that direction.

Hey BiturboRacing, when is exactly the LeMons race you'll partecipate in? I'd like to share the news with the Italian Maserati forum I am on.

Next time you hit a Chumps race look for the Red or Green Porsche 944 team.
