'02 Sypder beeping is driving me crazy...

Does anyone know about a beeping noise that sometimes happens when you first start off in 1st gear only. I've read in the manuel that it could be telling me that the clutch is warm. Again, it only happens in 1st gear, beeps about 3 or 4 times and never in anyother gears. No check engine light or any other warning lights. It's driving me crazy, so anyone's help would be appreciated.

you will get a few warning beeps if the parking brake is on. It could be that when you release the parking brake it sticks on the caliper and takes a little while to fully release. I had this happen in my 355.

If you're already in 1st gear, pulling back on the downshift paddle causes the gear indicator to flash "1" and beep to let you know you're engaged "special parking maneuver mode". it self cancels when the revs get over 1500.
