yeah that was about the start for tv cameras but things didnt really start cooking until the 50s
movie cameras started around 1910 but the technology is really scatter to what was going to stick around.

One of the other videos that was referenced within that link shows a series of crashes in the '61 Indy 500 - I think it was all started by our very own marque (anyone know for sure?)....Those Italians will do anything to win a race. :D
