If you ever find yourself in North Georgia, you should check out Flashback Motorworks.
Of course I am biased because I work here but we have the shop and skills to do whatever it is you may need.
We just had a Bora go out the door and presently we have a Mistral coupe, Mistral Spyder, Quattroporte I, and my 87 Biturbo all here.
Although the website isn't fully functional right now, you can still check out most of it.

You could try Louisville. I can ask a few people I know from that area if they have a good mechanic for these cars. There is a Maserati dealer in Cincinnatti but they probably only work on newer cars.

It is still a bit of a haul, but there is Country Club Automotive in Glen Burnie, MD.
The person that owns it is the Former National Tech for Maserati North America also working there is the Former National Service Manager. They both worked for Maserati North America during the DeTomaso era from the Mid 70s thru the early 90s. So they know their way around the GT cars as well as the Biturbos.
It is not a big place, and they are not the fastest at turning cars around, but they do know what they are doing. Please let me know, if you are interested.
Joe
Also they do all the work on my cars
