Maserati Quattroporte 2005-2008 passenger side headlight assembly assy
Brand new headlight assembly for 2005-2008 Maserati Quattroporte for the PASSENGER side, WITHOUT funtioning light control computer mounted underneath the assembly (computer mounted under the assembly is called the "light control unit" and is part number is 980139011). This headlight assembly has never been installed on a vehicle yet, and still has the protective tape on front lens from shipping. When I purchased the unit I found out that all that was wrong with MY original headlight assy was the light control computer, so we switched the Light Control Unit only, and re-used my old headlight assembly. A new Light Control Unit - part number 980139011 - can be purchased from Maserati of New England for $604.53 if you need one. I've searched and searched for parts for the Quattroporte and these folks are easily the most reasonably priced, easy-to-work-with, honest folks I've found. If all you need is the assembly with a new, clear lens then this is exactly what you need, and you save $1600 to boot.
The picture showing the assembly upside-down shows the metal computer attached to the underside; I will send the unit WITH the broken computer mounted, so you can compare how to install the new computer and have all mounting hardware neccessary (it has 3 screws - very easy) The MSRP is listed at most Maserati Dealerships is between $3100 - $3750 for new headlight assembly with Light Control Unit. The headlight assembly was bought for the car when the dealership here told me I needed an entire assembly ($3750 here in St. Louis); later finding out they conveniently didnt tell me the option of just buying the Light Control Unit ($605)... Naturally I found this out AFTER I purchased a whole new headlight assembly. Maserati part number for this item is 191180. Please feel free to email and ask any questions you like about the item. This came out of my personal vehicle; I should have the answers you need. It will be shipped in original Maserati box it came in.
